Unboxing Entrepreneurship- What NOT to compromise on when starting a new business

Starting a new business is an exciting and challenging endeavor.

There are many things to consider and plan for, from the initial idea to the day-to-day operations. But with careful planning and execution, starting a new business can be a rewarding experience.

There are many important factors to consider when starting a business, including the business model, the product or service, the target market, and the business location.

There are a few things you should never compromise on when starting a new business.

Our guest for this week, Chandni Dassani, discusses the importance of NOT compromising when starting a new business.

When she started her first company, she did not focus on marketing, which later made her realize that it is critical for any startup. Without effective marketing, a startup will have difficulty attracting customers and generating sales.

Bootstrapped through two businesses, she is a Creative Business woman who finds joy in learning new things daily. Optimism and Patience are two virtues that made her stronger after her first failed business to take the leap of bootstrapping a new one.

Currently hustling every day to scale The Packing Company and help people fulfill their packaging requirements.

She really enjoys great conversations, reading, blogging, and cooking, which she often doesn't prioritize but hopes to make a part of her routine soon.

In this episode, we started our conversation by talking about the changes Chandni made when starting her 2nd bootstrapped venture.

We discuss the things that Chandni looked at when creating her business model. She talks about the difference it made to invest in paid marketing vs waiting for organic growth.

We both talk about our learnings from our 1st venture and how we look at then 2nd business in a more objective manner.

We conclude the session with Chandni talking about the road to increasing profitability in the 2nd and 3rd years of her business.
