Does your marketing tell the same story wherever your customer finds you?
A customer might visit your website, speak to your sales team, receive your brochure and meet you at an event. If each of those interactions gives them a slightly different picture of your business, they have to work out what you actually do, what makes you different and why they should choose you.
Marketing That Connects helps you work out what your business needs to say and bring that message together across the marketing and sales material your customers see.
Make every customer interaction tell the same story. We help you create clear, consistent messaging across your sales conversations, website, brochures, presentations, and events, so people understand your business faster and trust it sooner.
If you are not sure where the problem is, you can start with our 10-minute Marketing Alignment Audit.
Where is the disconnect?
As a business grows, its marketing often gets created piece by piece. The website says one thing, the sales team explains it differently, and the brochure or company deck may tell an older version of the story.
You may find that your team struggles to explain what makes you different, your marketing doesn't reflect the value you deliver, or every new piece of collateral needs to be figured out from scratch.
We bring those pieces together.
First, we understand the business
We begin with a messaging diagnosis, using SWOT and Jobs-to-be-Done to understand your business, your customers and the decisions they are making.
The aim is to find what genuinely differentiates you from your customers' perspective and turn that into a messaging framework that sounds like your business. We work with you throughout the process because you know your business better than anyone else.
Once the message is clear, we apply it to the areas that matter most.
That might be your sales pitch, website, brochure, company deck, video, outreach emails, calling scripts, event collateral, or publication advertising. It can also give you a foundation for future work such as social media, ads, and stall design.

Six weeks to bring the pieces together
01
Business discovery
We use a SWOT exercise to understand where the business stands, its strengths and the opportunities worth exploring.
03
Message development
We bring the discovery work together and develop the core story and messaging framework.
02
Customer understanding
We use Jobs-to-be-Done to look at your customers and the decisions behind their choices.
04
Brochure refresh
We apply the message to your brochure. This is included in every engagement because it is a practical piece of communication that most businesses already use.
05 & 06
Apply the message
You choose where the remaining time will have the most value.
You can choose two smaller deliverables:
-
Elevator pitch + sales team training
-
Outreach emails
-
Calling scripts
-
Publication ads
Or you can choose one larger deliverable:
-
Website copy
-
Company deck
-
Video
-
Stall design
What has this looked like for other businesses?
An automotive service provider needed better conversations at a trade show
The business was preparing for a major trade show and wanted its sales team to have a clearer way to start conversations with potential customers.
We reworked the sales pitch, used social media before and during the event to drive people towards the stall, and set up lead tracking.
The leadership team confirmed 19 qualified leads from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
A textile manufacturer had good design but the wrong story
A textile manufacturer launching a new production unit already had a professionally designed website and brochure. The problem was that the content did not sound like the business.
We used SWOT and Jobs-to-be-Done to understand the positioning, then reworked the website, brochure and video. The same message was later carried into social media, the event stall design and an industry publication ad.
In another case, the marketing problem revealed a new market opportunity
An automotive component manufacturer came to us because his marketing felt off. While working through the diagnosis, we found that he wanted to pursue a new market segment.
That changed the direction of the work. We built his company deck, outreach emails and calling scripts around that business objective.
This is why we do the diagnosis before deciding what needs to be created. Sometimes the piece of marketing you came to fix is not where the real problem sits.
You will be able to tell when the work is helping
Your team will be able to explain the business without giving customers a different answer depending on who they speak to. Your website, brochure, sales material and event communication will support the same understanding.
Most importantly, you will be able to connect the work to something you can actually measure, such as enquiries from an outreach campaign, leads from an event or progress towards a specific business goal.
